Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 2 July 2026
Dowoni Wetaho aims to make this website usable for as many visitors as possible, including people using assistive technologies such as screen readers, keyboard navigation, or magnification tools.
Standards we work toward
We aim to align this site with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA where feasible. This includes attention to color contrast, keyboard operability, semantic HTML structure, and descriptive alternative text for images.
What we have done
- Used semantic HTML5 elements for navigation, headings, and content structure.
- Maintained sufficient color contrast between text and background across the site.
- Provided descriptive alt text for all meaningful images.
- Ensured interactive elements such as buttons and links are large enough to activate comfortably on touch devices.
- Made the mobile menu and cookie consent controls operable via keyboard.
Known limitations
Some third party embedded elements, such as the map on the contact page, may have accessibility limitations outside of our direct control. We periodically review the site for issues and make improvements where practical.
